O Centro de Ressocialização de Sorriso (CRS) precisa de um novo endereço. Agora, além dos esforços empreendidos por autoridades, o pedido para que o Governo do Estado construa uma nova unidade prisional fora dos limites urbanos do Município está sendo feito por meio de uma carta aberta elaborada durante a reunião pública do Conselho da Comunidade da Comarca de Sorriso.

O evento, realizado na noite de quinta-feira (28 de abril), no auditório da Câmara de Dirigentes Lojistas (CDL), reuniu autoridades ligadas à segurança pública, como a juíza criminal Emanuelle Chiaradia Navarro Mano; o diretor do CRS, Enilson Castro; o presidente do Conselho da Comunidade, Gilberto Gasparotto; o vice-prefeito de Sorriso, Gerson Bicego; o secretário-adjunto de Segurança Pública, Trânsito e Defesa Civil, Emiliano Preima; e o coordenador de Proteção e Defesa Civil (Compdec), Alberto dos Santos.

A carta deixa bem explícitos vários motivos que sustentam a necessidade de retirada do CRS do seu atual endereço, próximo a residências, estabelecimentos comerciais e educacionais, com grande movimento de pessoas na região. Projetado para atender uma comunidade carcerária não superior a 96 homens, hoje o complexo abriga uma população de 271 reeducandos.

“Mais que simplesmente retirar os apenados do convívio da sociedade, o CRS também promove ações efetivas para que estas pessoas possam ser reinseridas à sociedade após cumprirem sua dívida com a Justiça”, explicou o diretor penal Enilson Castro, responsável pelo CRS. Ao, todo, o CRS conta com os projetos Redenção, Marcenaria, Mão Amiga, Arca, Vencedores, Horta Livre e Sarau Literário.

“No Mão Amiga, por exemplo, podemos contar com mão-de-obra carcerária em diversas atividades, como reformas de prédios públicos, limpeza urbana e produção de artefatos de cimento”, ilustrou o vice-prefeito,  acrescentando que na Marcenaria da unidade nasceram várias caixas-colmeia que ajudaram a potencializar o projeto Vita Mel.

“Ao mesmo tempo em que os reeducandos, a cada três dias de trabalho, abatem um dia de pena, a sociedade como um todo ganha, com prédios públicos bem cuidados e ambientes mais limpos”, destacou a magistrada ao pontuar a importância dos projetos viabilizados na unidade prisional.

Mais que um novo prédio para abrigar os reeducandos de Sorriso, o novo local deve continuar sendo uma oportunidade de cada apenado “virar a chave” de sua vida. “É muito importante que sejam colocados menos presos em cada ala e que sejam ofertados mais projetos”, complementou.

As negociações em busca de um novo prédio tem sido intensas entre Município e Governo do Estado desde o ano passado. O Município já disponibilizou uma área para construção da nova unidade,  próxima à Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) e o prédio deve seguir o padrão que vem sendo utilizado pelo Governo do Estado, que é a construção da unidade prisional em raios, com muito mais segurança e rapidez na obra. O orçamento estimado para a unidade é superior a R$ 20 milhões.
