Os alunos da Escola Municipal Flor do Amanhã e os moradores dos bairros Boa Esperança e Fraternidade vão contar com um espaço totalmente revitalizado para a prática esportiva. Na sexta-feira (22), às 19 horas, será entregue à comunidade a quadra poliesportiva da Escola, que foi reformada pela Administração Municipal de Sorriso por meio do Projeto Revitalizar.

Os serviços realizados na unidade incluem a troca de portões, construção de paredes, substituição da iluminação, pintura, troca de telas e o conserto da cobertura. A ação do Revitalizar nas quadras esportivas e áreas de lazer é conduzida pela Secretaria Municipal de Esporte e Lazer, que já transformou espaços nas Praças: Antenor Balbinot, dos Ipês, dos Jacarandás, da Integração; e nas escolas Ivete Lourdes Arenhardt e Geni Terezinha Forgiarini.

A quadra da Escola Municipal Papa João Paulo II deve começar a receber as ações do Revitalizar nos próximos dias e a intenção é garantir que, até 2020, todas as quadras esportivas do município estejam totalmente renovadas. “A prática esportiva promove lazer, integração entre a comunidade, competição sadia e isso tudo se reflete diretamente no bem-estar e na saúde da população”, destaca o secretário de Esporte e Lazer do município, Júnior Brandão, lembrando que conta com o apoio da comunidade para a conservação do local.  “Pedimos o apoio dos moradores para manter o local sempre organizado e coibir qualquer possibilidade de vandalismo, visto que este é um espaço para que estudantes e famílias possam desfrutar bons momentos de alegria e descontração”.

Para utilizar o espaço revitalizado na Escola Flor do Amanhã, os moradores devem entrar em contato com o diretor da unidade escolar, a Associação de Pais e Mestres (APM) ou o presidente do bairro.
