O atendimento de equipes especializadas e multidisciplinares pode ser determinante para evitar o suicídio. A opinião é do psiquiatra Leonardo Luz, do Conselho Federal de Medicina. “O Samu [Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência – 192] deve ser acionado porque é uma emergência médica”, afirma.

Representante do Piauí, o médico reconhece, no entanto, que não há em todas as localidades do país serviço de urgência para casos de suicídio. “Há relatos Brasil afora onde o Samu não têm equipe para o atendimento, os bombeiros e a polícia é que acabam cuidando. Eles podem até ser rápidos, mas não têm recursos para fazer esse atendimento”.

No Distrito Federal, a Central de Informações Toxicológicas e Atendimento Psicossocial (Ceitap), da Secretaria de Saúde, mantém um carro do Samu disponível para equipe especializada, formada por médicos, enfermeiros, psicólogos, assistentes sociais e condutor socorrista.

Segundo a gerente da Ceitap, a enfermeira Carla Pelloso, a equipe “consegue intervir no momento em que a pessoa está em situação na qual perde o controle dos próprios atos e tem esses pensamentos acentuados de morte”. A iniciativa envolve conversa e acolhimento para que “a pessoa deixe de pensar no ato [de matar-se], vislumbre outro caminho e perceba que aquela não é a única saída”.

A psicóloga Janaína Milagres, especialista em psicopatologia e psicodiagnóstico infantil e psicologia hospitalar e da saúde, lembra que “o apoio psicológico no momento de crise é de grande importância para aliviar o sofrimento, diminuindo a angústia das emoções e das situações traumatizantes”.

Conforme o psiquiatra Leonardo Luz, a interlocução é uma “fala ativa para ganhar tempo” e levantar informações “para classificar risco”, conhecer histórico pessoal e identificar o perfil de quem ameaça se matar.

Para Janaína Milagres, é necessário que familiares e amigos fiquem atentos ao comportamento. A avaliação é de que antes do ato de suicídio a pessoa exibe sinais que poderão resultar na tentativa.

“O pedido de socorro acontece de várias formas. Muitas atitudes podem ser previsões de um comportamento suicida, como alta agressividade e nível extremo de impulsividade”.
