Foi um final de semana intenso para os encontristas. Foram 210 homens que passaram um final de semana diferente, ouvindo pregações que remetem a Jesus Cristo, seus ensinamentos e principalmente nesse tempo de Quaresma.
Foram três dias de aprofundamento da Palavra de Deus. Trata-se de um projeto de evangelização para homens da Comunidade Católica Sorriso de Maria de Sorriso-MT. Hamilton Medeiros foi um dos pregadores e condutor do evento e com ele Filipe Silva um jovem missionário da Comunidade Filhos de João Batista – Sete Lagoas/MG que também é pregador e tem uma história linda de superação. Com apenas 25 anos de idade ele saiu do mundo das drogas e hoje vai para onde é chamado. “Sou muito grato a Deus por tudo o que Ele fez em minha vida. Onde me chamarem eu vou” disse ele.
Para os homens que participaram, foi sem sombra de dúvidas um dos melhores encontros da vida. Se abastecer da Palavra de Deus ouvindo e tentando viver tudo o que foi proposto, foi maravilhoso relatou um dos encontristas.
O retiro Tobias teve início na sexta a noite e foi até domingo de ramos. Abaixo você acompanha uma entrevista com o pregador Filipe Silva e ainda assiste um pouco
do encerramento com a Santa Missa, onde os familiares também foram convidados a participar.
E na segunda feira (15) aconteceu o Primeiro Avivamento para Homens
na Capela Santa Rita de Cássia. Cerca de 300 homens participaram, não apenas os que fizeram o Retiro Tobias, mas também os que não tiveram a mesma oportunidade.
