Na manhã desta quinta-feira (09), o prefeito Ari Lafin recebeu a visita de integrantes do Rotary Club de Sorriso, que estiveram acompanhados do Governador do Rotary Distrito 4.440, Felício José dos Santos.
A visita teve por objetivo falar sobre os projetos desenvolvidos pela instituição, fortalecer os laços entre as equipes rotarianas e discutir ideias. Feliciano agradeceu o poder público municipal e ressaltou a importância da entidade para a sociedade. “O Rotary Clube é um catalizador de boas ações e com as campanhas que promove – erradicação da Pólio, hepatite zero, doação de sangue, além de ações sociais – contribui efetivamente para uma cidade melhor. Agradecemos o Município pelo apoio e parceria”, frisou.
“Ajudar o próximo muda a vida das pessoas que recebem e também de todos que estão em sua volta”, disse o prefeito, que acredita na parceria entre o poder público e a entidade.
