Nem bem terminou o primeiro dia de mudança no sentido do trânsito das duas perimetrais da rodovia BR-163, no perímetro urbano de Sorriso, que as críticas começaram a surgir com muita força.

Os mais descontentes parecem ser os moradores da Zona Leste, o outro lado da rodovia, que inclusive, alegam discriminação. O principal alvo das críticas e agressões verbais é o prefeito Ari Lafin (PSDB).

Na verdade o gestor do município está arcando com um ônus que é causado pelo Governo Federal, através do Ministério dos transportes, quando da privatização da rodovia BR-163, vencida pela concessionária Odebrecht.

No plano de ações da rodovia BR-163 repassado a iniciativa privada, está previsto a interrupção dos acessos para rodovia, deixando apenas poucas possibilidades de entrar e sair da mesmo. Isso causou um transtorno, principalmente para aqueles que precisam atravessar a rodovia de um lado para o outro da cidade.

As redes sociais bombaram neste feriado do dia primeiro de maio, quando a população agrediu o prefeito, elegendo-o como culpado da situação, mesmo não sendo ele o responsável pelas mudanças.

A mesma situação vive o município de Nova Mutum, Guarantã do Norte, Peixoto de Azevedo, entre outros que margeiam a BR-163, e que ficaram quase que inviabilizados pela ação do DNIT e o Ministério dos Transportes, que autorizaram e determinaram que a concessionária fizesse os bloqueios dos acessos na rodovia no perímetro urbano.

Apesar do apelo do prefeito Ari, secretários municipais, vereadores, empresários afetados pela intervenção e a população em geral, o governo federal não acenou com a possibilidade de deixar o trânsito como estava e a partir do dia 30 do mês passado, ou seja, anteontem, passou a bloquear os acessos à rodovia.
