A igreja católica realizou a celebração da Paixão e Morte de Jesus Cristo, conhecida tradicionalmente como Sexta-feira Santa.
A paróquia São Pedro Apóstolo realizou, na tarde desta sexta-feira (19), a celebração no Ginásio de Evangelização São Pedro (GESP), conduzida pelo pároco, Padre Valdir Luiz Koch, e contou com a presença de mais de 2 mil fiéis que estiveram presentes para reviver a morte de Jesus Cristo, ocorrida há mais de dois mil anos e que se tornou a maior profissão de fé da história da humanidade.
Durante a celebração foi realizada a narração do episódio de julgamento público de Jesus e até sua condenação e morte na cruz.
