Nos próximos dias, a quadra 84, da Rua Mogno, no Bairro Jardim Aurora vai se tornar um canteiro de obras. E a expectativa é que em 2024, este endereço receba mais de 370 crianças de 6 meses até 4 anos, que vão vivenciar a alegria de brincar, aprender e iniciar a vida escolar em mais um Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil de Sorriso (Cemeis).

Foi assinada nesta quinta-feira (2 de fevereiro), a ordem de serviço para início das obras da unidade, planejada nos moldes do projeto Padrão Tipo 1 do programa Proinfância, do Governo Federal. O secretário da Cidade (Semcid), Ednilson Oliveira, explicou que a unidade contará com dois blocos distintos, interligados por um pátio coberto. “O projeto segue as normativas do Proinfância e foi devidamente adaptado por nossos profissionais da Secretaria da Cidade”, complementou o gestor.  

Ednilson explicou ainda que a unidade terá uma área construída de 1,3 mil m², com área de ocupação de 1,5 mil m², e demandará investimentos de R$ 5.404.320,74. Deste montante, o Município receberá do Governo Federal, via FNDE, R$ 3.167.479,06. Além do aporte financeiro, cabe à Administração Municipal a contrapartida com terraplanagem e a infraestrutura básica, além, é claro, do terreno.

A empreiteira licitada para a obra é a Construtora Nossa Senhora Aparecida, de Lucas do Rio Verde, e o prazo de construção é de 360 dias.

A titular da Secretaria de Educação (Semed), Lúcia Drechsler, explicou que outras unidades devem também ser construídas ainda neste ano. “Além desta unidade que vai atender o Jardim Aurora e demais bairros nas proximidades, em breve deve ter início a construção de mais um Cemeis no São José e outras cinco unidades estão em licitação”, adiantou, acrescentando ainda que o Distrito de Primavera e o Residencial Mário Raiter também serão contemplados com unidades voltadas à educação infantil.

Feliz pelo início da obra, a gestora destacou que foram convocadas há poucos dias 1,6 mil crianças que aguardavam uma vaga em Cemeis, mas outras 700 ainda seguem na lista de espera. Para o prefeito Ari Lafin, ofertar educação de qualidade e pertinho da casa é condição indispensável para o desenvolvimento sustentável de Sorriso. “Muitas são as famílias que vem para cá diariamente por conta do acelerado ritmo de desenvolvimento de nossa cidade, e o Município precisa assegurar a infraestrutura básica de saúde, educação, assistência social e segurança aos novos moradores que vem para preencher vagas no mercado de trabalho e empreender, e, da mesma maneira, atender às demais famílias que vem contribuindo com o crescimento de Sorriso há mais tempo”, comentou o gestor.
