100% da safra de milho já foi colhida no município, segundo o acompanhamento feito pelo Sindicato Rural de Sorriso. O presidente da entidade, Silvano Filipetto falou, em entrevista à rádio Sorriso FM, na manhã desta quinta-feira (21), e destacou que foi colhida uma super safra. “Sorriso com uma super safra em comparação ao ano passado”, disse.
A produtividade foi em média de 127 sacas por hectare. O levantamento dos órgãos oficiais, entretanto, ainda é aguardado. No ano passado a média foi de 97 a 99 sacas por hectare. “Tivemos atraso no plantio da soja, depois atraso no plantio do milho, mas foi bom”, explicou o presidente.
Filipetto lembrou que é importante que se garanta a lucratividade no campo ressaltando que o custo de produção é alto.
“Ano passado tínhamos um custo totalmente diferente deste ano. Tivemos elevação muito brusca, principalmente dos fertilizantes. A grande preocupação é a safra 2023, produtor está preocupado. E agora os preços do milho despencando. 4.300 reais uma tonelada de ureia e vender milho a 55 reais como estão nos ofertando, assusta. O valor ideal teria que ser acima de 70 reais para cobrir custos e ter uma renda”, afirmou.
Na entrevista ele falou também sobre as dificuldades para armazenamento do milho colhido, problema que estaria se resolvendo já com a retirada da safra de soja.
O plantio da soja está sendo programado para a partir da 2ª quinzena de setembro, quando há expectativa de retorno das chuvas e o fim do vazio sanitário.
