A concessionária Rota do Oeste informou na tarde desta terça-feira (10), que foi feita avaliação na ponte no rio Verde em Lucas do Rio Verde e concluiu que o fogo ateado criminosamente, domingo à noite, não comprometeu a estrutura de segurança da ponte. A nova avaliação será realizada por precaução até a próxima sexta-feira (13) com a participação de um consultor especialista. Anteriormente estava previsto que, até sexta, o tráfego seria parcial, de forma pare e siga.

Mas, o tráfego foi liberado nos dois sentidos e normalizado na tarde de ontem. “A inspeção concluiu que o tráfego pode ser restabelecido no local”, diz a concessionária, em nota. O fluxo estava sendo no sistema ‘Pare e Siga’, com 10 minutos de passagem, desde domingo à noite.

A equipe da empresa fez a limpeza completa da pista e refez a pintura da ponte. As chamas atingiram a estrutura da cabeceira da ponte e foram apagadas pelos bombeiros de Lucas.

Um homem foi preso e a investigação continua em busca de outros envolvidos no ato criminoso.
