Neste fim de semana, mais um mutirão de cirurgias de olhos estão sendo realizadas pelos municípios, por meio do Consórcio Intermunicipal de Saúde Vale do Teles Pires.

O local, desta vez, é o município de Lucas do Rio Verde, onde se realizam 200 cirurgias, entre pterígio e catarata, neste sábado, domingo e segunda-feira (12).

O prestador do serviço é o Centro Matogrossense de Oftalmologia, de Cuiabá, que está credenciado junto ao programa MT mais Cirurgia, com recursos do governo do estado, em parceria com os municípios.

Desde o início do mês de setembro, já foram realizadas 350 cirurgias, e está agendado para os próximos dias 17 a 21 de setembro, mais 500 cirurgias oftalmológicas, sendo 200 de catarata e 300 pterígio. “Com certeza o mês de setembro está sendo de recorde nos procedimentos por meio do MT Mais Cirurgia e municípios. Ainda temos a expectativa de avançar muito até o fim do ano”, relatou a secretária executiva do Consórcio, SolimaraLígia Moura.

A porta de entrada para a realização dos procedimentos sempre é a unidade básica de saúde de cada município (PSF), onde o paciente protocola o pedido médico e este é avaliado pela central de regulação de cada município e encaminhado para a cirurgia.
