A Secretaria Municipal de Obras e Serviços Públicos de Sorriso está intensificando os trabalhos de limpeza de bocas de lobo e tubulações de águas pluviais nos bairros da cidade.

A equipe de limpeza está realizando obras de intervenção forte com escavação para buscar resolver o problema de forma definitiva. Durante os trabalhos, que se concentram no momento no bairro Bela Vista, a surpresa é constante pelo panorama descoberto, ou seja, tubulações e galerias completamente lotadas de lixo e terra, provenientes das bocas-de-lobo, que absorvem as águas das chuvas e dos moradores da região.

O problema se arrasta há mais de uma década na região e vinha sendo tratado sempre de maneira paliativa. “O prefeito nos pediu para que solucionássemos esse problema e é assim que estamos agindo, para que as águas não fiquem mais represadas nestas ruas e causando transtornos aos moradores. Por outro lado, pedimos a colaboração destes moradores para que não joguem esse tipo de lixo nas bocas-de-lobo, senão o problema voltará”, declarou o encarregado do trabalho, Mauricy Alves.
