Com o impacto, o veículo ficou totalmente destruído

Um homem de 59 anos morreu, na noite de domingo (9), após se envolver em um acidente de trânsito na BR-364, em Rondonópolis (distante a 212 km de Cuiabá). Eugênio Marques de Souza ficou preso entre às ferragens e não resistiu.

De acordo com informações da Rota do Oeste, o acidente ocorreu no km 220, por volta das 16h50, e envolveu três veículos.

Os três veículos seguiam para Cuiabá quando, em determinado momento, Eugênio tentou fazer uma ultrapassagem. Durante a manobra, ele perdeu o controle da direção e colidiu na cabine de uma carreta e, na sequência na traseira de outro veículo de carga.

Com o impacto, o veículo de Eugênio tombou, ficou completamente destruído e ele preso entre às ferragens.

O Corpo de Bombeiros foi acionado e retirou o homem do local. Contudo, ele não resistiu e morreu.

Os outros dois motoristas não se feriram e assinaram termo de recusa médica.

O trânsito no local, de pista duplicada, foi controlado pela Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF).
