Uma empresa local venceu o procedimento licitatório aberto pela prefeitura para construção da sede própria do centro de reabilitação Renascer, que funcionava em um prédio alugado, na avenida Tancredo Neves. Em agosto do ano passado, um incêndio destruiu completamente as instalações, prejudicando o atendimento de centenas de pacientes com fraturas, luxações, patologias respiratórias e outras comorbidades.

No edital de licitação, a prefeitura estimou investimentos de até R$ 2 milhões. No entanto, a empresa vencedora apresentou proposta de R$ 1,6 milhão. Agora, é aguardada homologação do certame. Após assinatura do contrato e expedição da ordem de serviço, o prazo para conclusão das obras será de 210 dias.

No certame, a prefeitura justificou que há “necessidade de um centro de atendimento especializado em procedimentos fisioterapêuticos para a população de sorriso, proporcionando melhor atendimento e bem estar nos serviços públicos oferecidos pela secretaria municipal de Saúde e Saneamento”.

Na época do incêndio, o secretário de Administração, Estevam Hungaro Calvo Filho, calculou que o prejuízo passou de R$ 1,5 milhão, sem contar com o imóvel, onde haviam sido investidos mais de R$ 100 mil em um ano e meio com as readequações.
