Três jovens foram presos nesse domingo (14) ao tentarem entregar celulares na Penitenciária Osvaldo Florentino Leite Ferreira (Ferrugem), em Sinop.
De acordo com os agentes, por volta de meio-dia a equipe de segurança da unidade recebeu uma denúncia de que alguns homens estavam perto da penitenciária usando um drone.
Os agentes encontraram os suspeitos com o equipamento e com celulares.
No momento em que o celular de um dos suspeitos tocou, ele imediatamente quebrou o celular. O outro também quebrou o aparelho dele.
Segundo informações da polícia, eles foram contratados para jogar celulares dentro da penitenciária usando o drone.
A direção da unidade informou à TV Centro América que a unidade não conta com equipamentos que bloqueiem celulares. A penitenciária abriga 320 presos.
