O último sábado (25)  foi dia de instrução de prevenção e combate a incêndio para as crianças e adolescentes do Bombeiros do Futuro, edição 2019. De acordo com o sargento, Edivan Borges, os alunos do projeto aprenderam na prática como prevenir, combater e também sair de incêndios. “Eles passaram pela Casa da Fumaça e vivenciaram uma situação de pouca visibilidade”, explicou.

Borges ressaltou que as crianças aprenderam a manipular extintores a base de água, usado no combate a incêndios de classe A; a base de pó químico, indicado em incêndios de classe B e C  e a base de dióxido de carbono (CO2), usado no combate à incêndios B e C. A classe A compreende materiais sólidos, tais como: madeira, papel, tecido, etc. Na classe B estão combustíveis sólidos, líquidos e gases inflamáveis, como gasolina, óleo, vernizes, etc. E na classe C estão equipamentos e instalações elétricas energizadas, como computadores, geradores, transformadores, quadro de distribuição, cabos, etc.

Conforme o responsável pelo projeto social Bombeiros do Futuro, sargento BM Dantas, as 100 crianças que integram o projeto participaram do treinamento. “50 deles participaram do treinamento prático no sábado passado (18). Neste sábado, a outra turma recebeu a instrução”, disse.

Santas destacou que enquanto um pelotão recebeu a instrução prática, o outro ficou no próprio Quartel do Corpo de Bombeiros onde os alunos realizaram prova de atendimento pré-hospitalar (APH), além de instruções de ordem unida, hinos e canções e apresentação individual. “Todos tiveram a oportunidade de trabalhar noções básicas de propagação e de extinção de incêndios”, acrescentou.

O projeto social Bombeiros do Futuro é desenvolvido pela Prefeitura Municipal, por meio da Secretaria de Assistência Social, em parceria com a 10ª Companhia Independente de Bombeiro Militar (CIBM). Nesta edição 100 crianças e adolescentes entre 09 a 13 anos integram o projeto. Para a responsável pela pasta, Jucélia Ferro, projetos como esse são fundamentas, pois “trabalham noções de ética e cidadania. Aproveitamos para parabenizar todos os pais que estão incentivando seus filhos a participar”, finaliza.

As aulas tiveram início no fim abril e a previsão é que se estendam até o início de julho. Durante o projeto, os participantes recebem noções de primeiros socorros, prevenção de acidentes domésticos, nós e amarrações, sexualidade, educação ambiental, consumo racional de energia elétrica, boas maneiras, educação para o trânsito, entre outras temáticas.
